NORTHLAKE, Ill. – State Representative Kathleen Willis is making residents aware of the Illinois Insurance Hotline, a resource that helps residents with insurance questions.
The Illinois Insurance Hotline is an industry-sponsored resource that provides residents with easy access to insurance information. An estimated 10,000 consumers use this service to obtain unbiased information on a wide range of insurance topics each year. State Representative Kathleen Willis went on to say, “People often have concerns about insurance matters, and the Illinois Insurance Hotline is an organization that can offer assistance.”
State Representative Kathleen Willis went on to say, “Use the Hotline’s toll-free number to talk to a consultant about an insurance issue, or to obtain educational materials on a range of insurance topics. Common questions the Hotline responds to:
• What is the financial rating and complaint record for the insurance company I’m considering?
• Is it a good idea to buy replacement cost coverage on my home and personal belongings?
• What are my options if the insurance company cancels my coverage?
• How can I get in touch with the insurance company if there is not an agent in my area?
“The Illinois Insurance Hotline doesn’t sell insurance or recommend companies,” State Representative Kathleen Willis noted. State Representative Kathleen Willis added, “The Hotline offers unbiased information to help consumers make educated decisions about the insurance issues.”

Kathleen Willis is serving her first term in the Illinois General Assembly as State Representative of the 77th District, which includes O’Hare Airport and portions of Addison, Bellwood, Bensenville, Franklin Park, Maywood, Melrose Park, Northlake, Stone Park, and Wood Dale.
