Letter to the editor : 77th District Economic Advisory Committee continues to meet

Dear Editor:

I am happy to say that the 77th District Economic Advisory Committee continues to meet regularly at my district office to discuss vital issues related to economic development, job creation, and small business promotion throughout the region. The advisory committee is comprised of small business owners, economic development professionals from local villages, as well as concerned citizens looking to voice their ideas on how to make the region more economically stable. Our next meeting is scheduled for August 1st at 10:00 AM at my district office located at 112 N. Wolf Road in Northlake.

At our upcoming meeting we will be welcoming special guest Dan Long, Executive Director of the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability (CGFA) of the State of Illinois. The Commission is responsible provides the Legislature with research and information regarding state and national economies, revenue projections and operations of Illinois Government. Director Long will be here to discuss current economic forecasts for the State of Illinois, as well as to answer any questions from any attendees of the meeting.
