Willis Hosting Free Phone Bill Clinic with Citizens Utility Board (CUB)

ADDISON, Ill. –In an effort to help constituents better understand their phone bills to avoid unnecessary charges and to save money, state Rep.Kathleen Willis(D-Addison) is sponsoring an free phone bill clinic with the Citizens Utility Board (CUB)on Thursday, July 25th from at 10:00 AM at the Addison Park District Senior Club located at 120 E. Oak Street in Addison.



"Phone bills can be confusing and use jargon the average consumer doesn't understand," said Willis. "Consumers should understand what they're paying for and if these services are really all that essential. This free event will allow consumers to have their phone bills examined by trained professionals and hopefully lead to some folks paying less."



Representative from the Citizens Utility board, the state' leading consumer advocacy organization, will be on hand to review your current phone plan and show you how you can save money. Please bring a copy of your most recent bill to the event.
