Willis to Host Community Resource Fair in Addison
ADDISON, Ill. – Families are gearing up to attend the annual community resource fair, hosted by state Rep. Kathleen Willis, D-Addison, in the gymnasium at Lake Park School, located at 330 Lake Park Drive in Addison on Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“I’m excited to be able to continue to host this event and to help residents learn about and access vital resources,” said Willis. “I hope families are able to come to the event and learn about a resource that can be helpful to them.”
Some of the participants at Willis’ Community Resource Fair include representatives from the Illinois Secretary of State, the Addison Public Library, Catholic Financial Life, Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association, the I-Cash Program, and Presence Behavioral Health among others. The aim of the event is to let local residents know about some of the important resources that are available in the community to promote health, education, financial literacy, and other important areas.
“I urge local residents to feel free to stop by and say hello,” said Willis. “Helping residents in a time of need is something that is very important to me and the reason I hold this event every year.”
Willis is serving her third term in the Illinois General Assembly as State Representative of the 77th District, which includes O’Hare Airport and portions of Addison, Bellwood, Bensenville, Franklin Park, Maywood, Melrose Park, Northlake, Stone Park, and Wood Dale.
