Willis and Harmon Invite Residents to Town Hall Meeting

NORTHLAKE, Ill. – Following the completion of the General Assembly’s fall veto session, state Rep. Kathleen Willis, D-Addison, and state Senator Don Harmon, D-Oak Park, are hosting a town hall meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bensenville Village Hall, located at 12 S. Center Street in Bensenville.

Willis Awarded Life Safety Award from Illinois Fire Safety Alliance

NORTHLAKE, Ill. – This past week, state Rep. Kathleen Willis, D-Addison, was presented with the Life Safety Award from the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance during their annual Fire Prevention Week Luncheon. Willis was selected for the Life Safety Award due to her leadership in the passage of the Smoke Detector Act, which required that batteries in smoke detectors be capable of powering the unit for a minimum of ten years.
